Holloway vs Poirier: 



On July 19 2025 the UFC returns to New Orleans for another historic night at the Smoothie King Center. UFC 318 will feature the third and final showdown between Max Blessed Holloway and Dustin The Diamond Poirier also known as the BMF (Baddest Motherf***er). 

They met again in 2019 at UFC 236, with Poirier winning via unanimous decision to claim the interim lightweight

  Volkanovski vs Lopes  On April 12 2025, at the Kaseya Center in Miami,  Alexander Volkanovski faced Diego Lopes for the vacant featherweight title.  Volkanovski had lost two big fights before this one so he really wanted to prove himself. He started strong. using good footwork and smart punches. But Lopes didn't back down he even knocked Volkanovski down in the second round with a hard right hand.  With this victory Volkanovski became a two-time UFC featherweight Champion. He also made history by becoming the first man over 35 years old to win a title in a division under 170 pounds!
